The workshop is officially open!
We’ve been working hard to get the workshop back up to scratch an our bicycle recycling project is ready for re-launch. We need bikes and we need volunteers, so get down to 40 Kingsway Court and help us out. The workshop looks fantastic – photos will follow, and we’ll fill you in about exactly what will go on there in a post to follow.
But in general, it’s all about encouraging cycling. We want local kids and adults to learn to build and maintain bicycles and use them every day.

I’ve added a link on http://www.gobike.org/donate.php to this page. If you have any corrections/additions to your details let me know!

Hi, yep we take anything. If it’s beyond repair we salvage what we can and the rest goes to the scrap merchant for recycling. The only thing that might end up in landfill is the tyres, as there’s no way to recycle them. You can usually drop off between 5-8pm Mon/Tue and 2-7pm Wed/Thu, but give me a call on 07515879747 to confirm, as we’re out and about doing training a lot at the moment. Thanks!

All donations gratefully received. Even if it’s knackered, the only bits we can’t recycle are the tyres and tubes.
Drop off mon/tue 5-8pm and wed/thu 2-7pm but please call me on 07515879747 first just to make sure we’re in the workshop.
Thanks!
Monty
