step up logoThe Glasgow STEP UP team have recently published the results of their recent citizens’ survey and the event report from their recent Glasgows Energy and Carbon Masterplan stakeholder engagement event which was held at The Lighthouse in May. The results will inform the Energy and Carbon Masterplan.
The stakeholder engagement event for the city’s new Energy and Carbon Masterplan included four workshops on the topics of Energy Efficiency, Local Energy Production and District Heating, Transport, and Waste and Recycling,  which generated a wide range of actions and suggestions came out of all the workshop sessions that will contribute to the composition of Glasgow’s new Energy and Carbon Masterplan.

StepUp_workshopSTEP UP (Strategies Towards Energy Performance and Urban Planning) is a European energy and sustainable city planning project that aims to help cities improve their Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAP’s). It started in Nov 2012 and will conclude in April 2015. The Glasgow STEP UP team is made up of Glasgow City Council, University of Strathclyde and Scottish Power Energy Networks
