Whiteinch_SnowdropsRecently we helped Whiteinch Community Council with their snowdrop planting in Victoria Park. The weather forecast hadn’t been great but it turned out to be a nice sunny Autumn day. Along with ourselves and Community Council members there were also volunteers from Friends of Victoria Park, about a dozen keen pupils from both St Paul’s Primary and Whiteinch Primary and a few other local people.

Everyone got stuck in and we managed to plant 5000 snowdrop bulbs in the park alongside the expressway. Thanks to everyone that got involved and to Action Earth who funded the project. We even got our photo in the Evening Times! Can’t wait until the Spring to see what they look like!
