SWT_GlasgowCityNationalParkScottish Wildlife Trust are aiming to turn Glasgow into Scotland’s first urban National Park that encompasses the third largest city in the United Kingdom. Together we can let Glasgow flourish.

A Glasgow City National Park* aims to help strengthen our health, biodiversity, recreation, and aesthetic attitudes when living, working and playing in our city. Campaigning for National Park status will stimulate a debate around how we value nature and wild places in Glasgow. It will encourage different people to think creatively about how the benefits of National Parks can be shared and celebrated within a city context. And it will provide a truly ambitious message during Glasgow’s Green Year 2015.
