SanctuaryAerialGlasgow Harbour Sanctuary Housing Association have submitted a planning application for 48 flatted units for social rent in two blocks, comprising of a smaller 18 unit block to the west and a 30 unit block with associated landscaping and car parking provision. The flats are all 2 bedroom flats, of 65-70 square metres, which have been shown to have the highest demand in the area.

The site for the development is the former railway embankment which used to be Whiteinch Riverside Station. According to the application the land has been purchased from Cydeport and the embankment will be fully removed by Clydeport.
