WhiteinchCommChamps_LogoWhiteinch is full of amazing people! Creative people, kind people, thoughtful people, funny people, generous people – people who make Whiteinch a great place to work, live and learn in.

The Whiteinch Church of Scotland and Whiteinch Fellowship, working in partnership with several local organisations in Whiteinch, want to celebrate and promote community life within Whiteinch (including all WSHA tenants), by launching the Whiteinch Community Champions awards.

The awards are open to everyone and there are 5 categories to enter. Anyone can nominate a team, public servant or you can nominate yourself. Deadline for entries is Friday 10th April 2015.  You can find out more and submit nominations via the dedicated website.

UPDATE – deadline extended until Friday 1 May!

All entries submitted must live, work or learn within the Whiteinch area or be a tenant of WSHA. (Area being from the Clyde to the Sawmill Roundabout, along the Clydeside Expressway up to where it joins Henrietta Street and then south to the river.)

So whether you or someone you know has made a difference by caring for others, campaigning for better services, or in general creating a positive environment, we want you to tell us about it. Nominations need to be in by Friday 10th April 2015 and the Gala Awards evening will be on Friday 29th May 2015 in the Whiteinch Centre.
