Sustrans Scotland are inviting you to join their volunteers and Scott Paterson of Kinross Ecology on a morning bird walk along the National Cycle Network Route 7 in the west of Glasgow at 9.30am on Friday 12 June.

The route will lead through a mosaic of urban and suburban habitats, such as woodland and managed parkland and we will be looking for typical species associated with these environments.

Event details:

  • Meet at Dock Street in Yoker (on street parking) at 9:30am.
  • This walk will last approximately two to three hours along the Whiteinch to Dalmuir Greener Greenway route (National Cycle Network route 7).
  • Grid reference: NS 505 690.
  • Nearest train station: Yoker.
  • This walk will be led by Scott Paterson of Kinross Ecology.
