GWCVSN LogoThe West & Central Voluntary Sector Network (WCVSN) would like to commission a short-term, freelance project manager with the relevant skills and capacity to undertake the development work needed to have four separate programmes ready for implementation from 1st April 2016.

This is due to the loss of staff member and the need to have a ready to go programme of activity by 1st April 2016.

The four areas to be developed are to establish

  • a mentoring programme with a particular focus on ‘grassroots mentoring’ of smaller organisations
  • a Peer 2 Peer training and support programme
  • a Lifeboat support programme to support voluntary organisations in need
  •  and creating infrastructure for organisations to share resources and services

The main activities can be considered desk top research, mapping and analysis, database creation, development of necessary processes, tools and procedures for each programme, arranging training, and publicity and marketing

In the spirit of the programme we particularly welcome applications for individuals currently working in the third sector who have the necessary, time, skills and experience.

Timeline

  • Closing date for submissions 5pm on Wednesday 13th January 2016
  • Notify successful bidder by 5pm Friday 15th Jan 2016
  • Work to begin Thursday 21st Jan 2016
  • Project to be completed by 31st March 2016.
