The following update was taken from the Friends of Victoria Park Facebook page

At the last Fossil Grove Trustees meeting in February a request was made that Glasgow City Council set up a meeting with representatives of the Geological Society of Glasgow, its subcommittee the Strathclyde Geoconservation Group plus the Trustees, the Hunterian, SNH, the Parks Dept and Glasgow Life to discuss various options. A meeting has been organised for 19th April. The Geological Society have written to the Chair of the Fossil Grove Trustees proposing that the Council transfer the site to the Trust who would then take on management, funding for a new building etc etc.
