WGP_CyclingExtravaganzaPoster_CropAs part of Bike Week 2016 the We Go Pedal project will be holding a Family Cycling Extravaganza from midday to 4pm on Saturday 18 June in Victoria Park, Whiteinch G14 9NW. The event will take place near the main entrance to the park on Victoria Drive North.

There will be lots to do at the event including:

  • Cycle skills course
  • Play On Pedals
  • Free Wheel North accessible bikes and trikes
  • Bling-your-bike
  • a juggling uni-cyclist
  • active travel information
    • Go Bike
    • Sustrans Scotland
    • We Go Pedal and Whiteinch Bike Club
    • Good Moves Health Walks
    • South West Community Cycles
    • Friends of Victoria Park
  • Health Walks in the park
  • and a bike recycling point

The event and all the activities are FREE so why not pop along with the family and have a great day out.

The event is part of Bike Week 2016 which is an annual opportunity to promote cycling, and show how cycling can easily be part of everyday life by encouraging ‘everyday cycling for everyone’.


The event has been organised as part of the West Glasgow Pedallers We Go Pedal project. We Go Pedal is a partnership between DRCET, De’ils On Wheels bike workshop, The Whiteinch Bike Club and LINKES Bike Club and is funded by Cycling Scotland.
