20160706_WHMalcolm12The Reporter appointed by the Scottish Government to consider the appeal against the Council’s decision to reject the WH Malcolm planning application recently undertook a visit to the site and surrounding area.

Representatives from several local organisations that have been campaigning against the development were invited to attend part of the visit with the Reporter. The organisations included:

  • Yoker Community Council
  • Whiteinch Community Council
  • Scotstoun Community Council
  • Jordanhill Community Council & Victoria Park Residents Association
  • Harland Cottages Residents Association

The purpose of this visit was to allow the reporter to become familiar with all the physical aspects of the site and the surrounding area and gain a better understanding of the features of the site that relate to the appeal.

We are expecting the reporter’s final decision to be made in the next 4 to 6 weeks and we will keep you informed of developments.

All the information and communication relating to the appeal can be found on the Scottish Government’s Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals website. The case reference number is PPA-260-2055.
