GetGlasgowMovingThe first Get Glasgow Moving campaign meeting was held on Thursday 15 September,  and there was a great turnout; people were queuing out the door!

If you missed the meeting, the audio is now available to listen again.

The organisers would like to invite all those who want to get actively involved in the campaign for a world-class, fully-integrated, public transport network for Glasgow to attend their follow-up meeting on Thursday 13th October, 6-8pm at Unite the Union, John Smith House, 145/165 West Regent Street
Glasgow, G2 4RZ

The focus of the next meeting will not be on identifying the problems we experience when using transport in Glasgow, but rather on how we will successfully campaign to eliminate these problems. To assign roles to activists, produce a timeline of actions to carry out in the run-up to the council elections in May 2017, and to produce a manifesto outlining demands that council candidates can sign up to.

If you think you can offer skills, knowledge, experience and most importantly, a ‘can-do’ attitude, then please join us in our visionary campaign to demand that our elected representatives stop ignoring Glasgow’s Transport Crisis and start responding to our great city’s transport development needs. Sign up for the meeting here.
