This event comes over two years after the Council put the blaes pitches in the park up for lease which lead to a public meeting being held in January 2015. The Council then published their consultation report from that process in July 2015.

The Government describe Placemaking as… “Placemaking is a creative, collaborative process that includes design, development, renewal or regeneration of our urban or rural built environments.  The outcome should be sustainable, well-designed places and homes which meet people’s needs by harnessing the distinct characteristics and strengths of each place to improve the overall quality of life for people.”
