wgp_issue4_headerIssue 4 of the West Glasgow Pedallers We Go Pedal news is out now! It has been a few months since Issues 3 but a lot has been happening so read on to find out more!

This is the first issue as part of our Cycle Friendly Communites project and includes feedback from our launch event which we held back in September.

The latest issue is full of useful info about cycling in and around Glasgow including info about Drumchapel Cycle Hub, Go Bike cycle rides, advice to help you cycling in the winter and news of the Cycling Taskforce set up by Scottish Ministers. There is also information about Bike Polite – the campaign to promote considerate cycling.

wgp_issue4_coverAnd we have some exciting news about the Cycle Friendly Awards coming soon too so keep your eyes on the blog!

So what are you waiting for – download the newsletter here – wegopedal_news_issue4_dec2016 – and you will find copies popping up in various places in the local area including community centres, medical centres and libraries.

We’d really like to hear you feedback on the newsletter so once you’ve had a chance to read it let us know what you think – and if there’s anything you would like to see in future issues just let us know!

wsha_logoWe are also very grateful to Whiteinch and Scotstoun Housing Association who have kindly sponsored this issue of the newsletter. They have also included a copy of the We Go Pedal news with their own newsletter which gets sent to all their tenants.

You also can download all the previous issues from here:

and you can keep up to date with the We Go Pedal project on our blog!

We Go Pedal is a partnership between DRCET, De’ils On Wheels bike workshop, The Whiteinch Bike Club and LINKES Bike Club . The current project is funded by Cycling Scotland in the form of a Cycle Friendly Communities development grant to support local communities in the area.
