The Glasgow Street Play Weekend is back and going to be bigger than ever, this year taking place on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June.

Street Play is a nationwide initiative run by Play Scotland and supported by the city council and Glasgow Life. It aims to bring communities closer together by providing local groups and residents to take back their street and enjoy a traffic free environment.

Ever wanted to close your street for play? The Council are offering free road closures to residents, local groups and community based organisations for one weekend in June – the dates the free road closure apply to are 22, 23 or 24 June 2018. The deadline for submitting applications is before 5pm on Friday 1 June.
