Between 2 and 12 August you can embark on an audiovisual adventure as the 762 metre-long walkway of the Clyde Tunnel is transformed into a sensory subterranean spectacle by multimedia artist Robbie Thomson and composer Alex Menzies. 

Inspired by marine mythology and science fiction, this otherworldly odyssey reveals robotic sculptures and electronic sounds which lead you through a series of close encounters.

Immersive and intriguing, Portal presents a rare opportunity to re-discover this remarkable Glasgow landmark which celebrates its 55th anniversary year as part of Festival 2018, the cultural programme of the European Championships 2018.

The event will take place from 11am to 7pm daily from Thursday 2 to Sunday 12 August in the southbound cycle and pedestrian tunnel.Tickets are free but need to be booked in advance via the Centre for Contemporary Arts.
