Victoria Park and Partick East/Kelvindale Area Partnerships and the North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network (NWGVSN) will be holding two Local Funding Workshop events in September.

20140409_NoticeboardDanes1You may have noticed in the past few weeks, in addition to the new bike racks, a few other new things in the neighbourhood, especially if you’ve been near Daisy Park on Dumbarton Road, Danes Drive Bowls Park and the pitch at Scotstoun Primary School.

Scotstoun Community Council have installed three new community notice boards. The Community Council hope the notice boards will make it more convenient to keep everyone up to date with what is happening in the community council area. These are a really great addition to the community so well done to the Community Council for making this happen and hopefully it will be possible to get more boards in the neighbourhood in the future.

The boards were made possible with funding from the Ward 13 Garscadden / Scotstounhill Area Partnership.

Area Partnerships are local Community Planning structures which are based around existing council wards. They bring together partners from statutory services, the community, and the voluntary sector to work on issues that are important for the community in this area.
