Pass it on Week 2018 is Scotland’s annual celebration of re-use – join in and get swapping, donating, sharing and repairing to help make things last!

Pass it on Week, which is now in it’s 4th year, will be running from 10-18 March 2018. The week is all about re-use, so passing things on, upcycling, swapping, repairing – anything to #MakeThingsLast.

Our community bike workshop De’ils on Wheels will be getting involved in Pass It On Week. As a Revolve Reuse accredited centre, De’ils on Wheels actively promotes the re-use of quality bicycles and encourages locals to love their bikes. Second hand doesn’t mean second best.

PlayOnPedalsDe’ils on Wheels is taking part in a city wide children’s bike amnesty as part of the Play On Pedals project and Pass It On week.

Play on Pedals gives pre-school children across Glasgow the chance to learn to ride a bike before they start school.

We are looking for donations of unwanted balance bikes (ideally with a brake) or 12″ children’s pedal bikes. These will be checked by our qualified mechanics and made available to nurseries across the city.

You can drop off unwanted bikes at De’ils On Wheels workshop every Wednesday (11am-3pm) and Thursday (1-5pm) throughout March.

PlayOnPedalsDe’ils on Wheels is taking part in a city wide children’s bike amnesty as part of the Play On Pedals project. Play on Pedals will give the opportunity for pre-school children across Glasgow to have the chance to learn to ride a bike before they start school.

We are looking for donations of unwanted balance bikes and small children’s pedal bikes. These  will be added to the existing Play On Pedals fleet bikes which rotates around Glasgow’s nurseries and community groups, ensuring every 4 year old has access to a bike as part of their training.

De’ils On Wheels is a Play On Pedals ‘hero organisation’ and we are working in partnership with a cluster of local nurseries including Thirlestane Day Nursery, Kelso Street Nursery and Whiteinch Nursery.

You can drop off unwanted bikes at De’ils On Wheels workshop every Wednesday (11am-3pm) and Thursday (1-5pm) throughout June.
