A new bus ticket that can be used on all major companies in Glasgow has recently been launched. The Tripper ticket is being rolled out by First, Stagecoach, McGill’s, Whitelaws and City Bus.

Glasgow’s main bus operators have got together to make bus travel in and around Glasgow smarter, easier and even better value.

The ticket will be able to be purchased on board and used bus to bus and it is hoped to be contactless by the end of the year. You can enjoy unlimited travel on thousands of buses in and around Glasgow with a Tripper card!

You can follow Glasgow Tripper on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram to keep up-to-date on Tripper news about new ticket types, offers and online sales.

Citizen’s Advice Scotland (CAS) are running a survey about Better Buses. The survey will run from Sunday 8th October to Sunday 22nd October.

By launching a public survey nationally, and citizens advice bureaux running local engagement events and campaigns, CAS ensure that the views of Scottish people are fed into a new Transport Bill being introduced in 2018. All of the information and data received during the campaign will be analysed and reported on, and CAS will speak out on behalf of respondents by presenting their top priorities in relation to bus travel.
