The Scottish Parliament are hosting ‘My Climate Changes’ a community engagement event, from 5.30-8pm on Monday 10 September 2018 at The Albany Centre, 44 Ashley St, Glasgow G3 6DS.

The Scottish Government is proposing more ambitious targets for the reduction of greenhouse gases and has published the Climate Change (Emissions Reduction Targets) (Scotland) Bill to the Scottish Parliament.

The Environment, Climate Change & Land Reform (ECCLR) Committee now has to scrutinise this Bill in order for it to progress through Parliament. As part of that Scrutiny it is exploring these questions with the public through social media via the hashtag #myclimatechanges and through a number of informal community events such as this one in Glasgow.

The committee are keen to engage with a broad range of people, including young people and people on lower incomes, who may have their own perspective.

The event is free but you must book a place. Registration and a light buffet will be available from 5:30pm with the main workshop between 6pm and 8pm.
