QMDGlasgow City Council are proposing to make a number of improvements within the Queen Margaret Drive area of the City. These works have the aspirations and aims of increasing the number of journeys completed in an active and sustainable manner and improving the liveability of the local area.

The main proposals cover the area from the Queen Margaret Drive Bridge to the Junction of Kelbourne Street and include:

  • 2 way segregated cycle route on the West side.
  • Increased public space at the junction of Kelvin Drive.
  • Reduced crossing distances at Kelvin Drive and Queen Margaret Road.
  • Upgraded pedestrian crossing facilities.
  • Upgraded surfacing on footways including public realm quality materials.

After you have viewed the designs you are invited to leave feedback via a short questionnaire which is available until Fri 18 May.
