Our Community Green Team members are an essential part of the organisation and make a huge contribution to the work we do, our success and the impact we have in the local community. We provide a range of volunteering opportunities from one-off activities to regular weekly activities.

We’re looking for volunteers in a range of roles:

  • Community Cycle Champion

    • Are you passionate about bikes and cycling?  Would you like to help other people discover cycling?  Help us to promote cycling locally and encourage more people to get out on their bikes, by helping at events, such as bike breakfasts and pop up sales, assisting with leading rides in the local area and teaching kids to cycle.
  • Bicycle Mechanics & Workshop Assistants

    • We’re looking for knowledgeable bike mechanics as well as handy people with an interest in mending bikes to help out in our workshop.  Volunteers will help mend customers’ bikes, as well as help to recycle old bikes.  If you love fiddling about with bikes, this could be the opportunity for you.  Some training available.  Although all our volunteer spaces are currently full, please do get in touch if you’re interested in joining us.
  • 20160921_balshagray_13_volunteersCommunity Green Team volunteers

    • We’re looking for people to get involved in our community green spaces programme and join our community green team. We’ll have dates for sessions coming soon.  Get in touch if you’d like to be kept posted.
    • You can see dates for other community green space sessions on our community calendar.
  • Board Members

    • If you’re local and would be interested in helping to steer the organisation into the future then perhaps you’d consider joining the board?  We’re looking for people with all sorts of skills, but if you’ve got health & safety expertise we’d particularly like to hear from you!

Interested? Then please complete our online  volunteer application form or get in contact with us.
